Social Responsibility
We apply the criteria and values of sustainability in our daily activities as a means of defining, evaluating and achieving our objectives:
- Protect the environment and people's health.
- Create value for the pharmaceutical sector and society as a whole.
- Efficiently and safely manage domestic medicines and their packaging.
- Contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Adopt and disseminate the principles of the Circular Economy.
- Develop the organisation's human capital.
- Engage in dialogue and commitment with our stakeholders.
We were one of the first organisations invited to join the Pact for a Circular Economy, as a key player in the pharmaceutical sector to move towards a more resource-efficient society through the promotion of eco-design and recycling.
In addition, each year we publish our Sustainability Report to publicise our environmental, social and good governance performance. In this way, we maintain our commitment to transparency towards our stakeholders.
Our activity is aligned with 8 of the 17 SDGs of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, which are related to health and the environment.
With the involvement of the entire pharmaceutical sector, we have launched initiatives to contribute to the achievement of the following SDGs:
