Objectives

SIGRE pursues objectives on two levels:

• Environmental: reducing environmental damage caused by packaging and leftover medicines, by preventing waste at source and ensuring correct environmental treatment of the waste generated.
• Health: preventing the build-up of medicines in homes and raising public awareness about the health risks arising from incorrect use of these.
